Book Description
When we eat, can we feed the soul as well as the body? Can a diet have an impact on spirituality? Spiritual Nutrition empowers readers to develop personal diets that are appropriate to their lifestyles and spiritual practices. Drawing on 14 years of clinical experience and research, Dr. Gabriel Cousens discusses nutritional issues that can help answer these questions, including raw vs. cooked food; high vs. low protein; the concepts of assimilation and fasting; alkaline--acid balance; attitudes about food; nutrients, energy, and structure building. In addition, Cousens shares his new dietary system of "spiritual nutrition" that is based on the relationship that the color of the food has to corresponding colors of the human chakra system, hence, the "rainbow diet." For true nourishment, he strongly promotes the connection of diet to meditation, fellowship, wisdom, and love.

Book Description
From the Preface to the Revised Edition: Since its publication in 2007, Transcendental Phenomenological Psychology has been sold on every continent (except Antarctica), and is in the collections of research libraries in North America, Europe, and Asia. Even so, its presentation to the academic community rightly provoked many comments, corrections, suggestions, and criticisms. Such input, while mostly welcome, provided the impetus to publish a revised edition. A phenomenological explanation of human consciousness has long been sought in regions of psychology since the discipline was first carved out of philosophical concepts and theories about the human condition. In its earliest years, Western psychology was faced with two possible directions for this explanation: an empirical naturalistic approach along with physics and biology, or a non-empirical eidetic approach along with logic and mathematics. Edmund Husserl took up the latter. His phenomenological tradition of inquiry successfully spanned nearly forty years until suddenly stopped and largely suppressed during the Second World War. This book recovers Husserl's revolutionary approach toward the human sciences, just as it was developed, and just as it is presented for further study. Here, the author systematically gathers what Husserl calls the "leading clues" in the phenomenological method proper for a psychology of affective inner experience, and then for the first time applies Husserl's own methodology for introducing a phenomenological psychology in the transcendental register of human consciousness. Unlike contemporary phenomenological psychology in the existential register, transcendental phenomenological psychology is presented as an eidetic non-empirical "act psychology" in Husserl's mature genetic phenomenology. This novel approach takes in the full range of solipsistic and transcendental subjectivity in Husserl's theories of human consciousness, and follows Husserl's lead in presenting phenomenological psychology as an "applied geometry" of intentional experience within a step-wise theory of inquiry. This book is unique in human science today, not only in its presentation of the development and applications of Husserl's key concepts for the discipline of psychology, but also for introducing a psychology that could be intuitively grasped as self-evidently valid wherever one's interest might lie.

Book Description
Hermeneutical Heidegger critically examines and confronts Heidegger's hermeneutical approach to philosophy and the history of philosophy. Heidegger's work, both early and late, has had a profound impact on hermeneutics and hermeneutical philosophy. The essays in this volume are striking in the way they exhibit the variety of perspectives on the development and role of hermeneutics in Heidegger's work, allowing a multiplicity of views on the nature of hermeneutics and hermeneutical philosophy to emerge. As Heidegger argues, the rigor and strength of philosophy do not consist in the development of a univocal and universal method, but in philosophy's ability to embrace—not just tolerate—the questioning of its basic concepts. The essays in Hermeneutical Heidegger are exemplars of this kind of rigor and strength.

Book Description
The essays collected in this volume form a multifaceted discourse on religious, philosophical, historical, ethnocultural and sociocultural, literary and linguistic issues. A multicultural approach to the problem of the soul allows the presentation of it on a microscale, focused on national and regional specificity, as well as on the macroscale, oriented toward universal values which can be observed in the cultures of peoples distant from each other in both time and space. The book consists of 28 chapters, addressing the fundamental themes of human existence, which find expression in cultural texts in both colloquial and artistic language, and which have a prominent place in anthropological, psychological, metaphysical and theological debates.

Book Description
How should we approach life and its challenges? Are they real? What do we really know about reality? Could modern physics help us to understand? What kind of worldview does it really shape for us? What is the connection between reality and consciousness? Do we live in a simulation? In this book Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is diving into the question of reality, a topic which has been of interest to her since childhood. The desire to understand the world, reality and the purpose of everything has also led her to the frontiers of science and to topics physicists do not often approach. Her first book ”From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing - A Physicist’s Journey to Mind and Healing” was published on Amazon in 2018. Hyperreality is a book about the nature of our reality and the hypotheses we have made about it through the centuries. Johanna Blomqvist describes many cases and research experiments that will puzzle your mind. Our reality seems to be something other than what the current prevailing materialistic worldview suggests. **From Chapter 2. Are we only machines?:** There are many phenomena that we encounter almost daily, but which do not fit into the current materialistic worldview. Such phenomena are often classified as anomalies or parapsychological when it is impossible to explain them with prevailing theories. Such phenomena include premonitions, intuition, telepathy, premonition dreams, and synchronicity. Science seeks to find objective truth, but is such a goal even possible? After all, all objective information is based on subjective observation. Robert Jahn and Brenda Dunne, founders of the PEAR (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research) laboratory, which has studied the effect of the mind on matter for decades, say: "Mind without matter leaves us with a world of ephemeral abstraction; matter without mind eliminates the essence of life itself.” ** It seems that the transition to the so-called post-materialistic era is essential. We don’t have any alternatives, if we want to continue our life as humanity on Earth into the future. We have to change our thinking! It is time to understand our effect on physical reality and move to a new era, beyond materialism. You exist — dive into hyperreality, in which you are a significant participant! Hyperreality book has been written to everyone seeking for answers about the nature of our reality, purpose of everything, consciousness and the connection between science and spirituality. It may help you to understand phenomena that you earlier have only omitted. This book is the answer that Johanna Blomqvist herself wanted to find as a teen, when she was contemplating the question of reality, why we are here, and how should one live. *** About the Author Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is a physicist, entrepreneur and internationally published author. In her work, she combines a wide variety of fields and methods in a unique way, often discussing topics from the cutting edge and unconventional areas of science. Blomqvist is also a sought-after lecturer, educator and energy healer. Since childhood she has been interested in understanding our reality, consciousness and our role in this universe. Johanna's first book "From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing - A Physicist's Journey to Mind and Healing" was published on May 2018. She has written also "Hyperreality - Beyond the Horizon where Physics Meets Consciousness" (2021) and "The Mystery of Water - A Physicist's Dive into Our Deepest Essence" (Fall, 2024). Johanna lives in Helsinki, Finland.
