Book Description
ELECTRONIC FILE CHARACTERISTICS: 17 files; MS Word (.DOC), MS PowerPoint (.PPT) and Hypertext Markup Language (.HTML). PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 1 CD-ROM; 4 3/4 in.; 43.9 MB. SYSTEMS DETAIL NOTE: ABSTRACT: The OSR is a summary of the analyses which includes job descriptions of work performed within the AFSC, Duty AFSC Analysis, Training Analysis, and Job Satisfaction Analysis. The training extract provides detailed information for comparison to current training documents and programs. This includes task data matched to the CFETP by skill-level groups, time-in-service groups, and MAJCOM groups to provide a tool for training decisions based on the percent of the members performing tasks in these groups. The analysis extract provides detailed information for various skill-level groups, time-in-service groups, MAJCOM groups, and job groups as identified in the analysis. This product is much more detailed than the training extract and is designed for more in-depth analyses of the career ladder. The OSR briefing is a Microsoft PowerPoint briefing normally given at the Utilization and Training Workshop. It provides an overview of the results of the analysis. Task Analysis reports are conducted on selected enlisted AFSCs as part of the overall Occupational Analysis review process. Task analysis is a process used to determine how to perform a specific task within a specific duty and is a systematic study to determine the activities, skills and knowledge, resources, publications, tools, and equipment required to perform that task. These reports are primarily designed to assist unit-level personnel (both active and reserve) in standardizing their on-the-job training programs. Some AFSCs are heavily TO-driven or OTPs already exist for them, so TAs are not conducted on these AFSCs. For more information regarding the TA process or products, contact our web sites.
