Book Description
Elements of Electromagnetics is designed for a first course in Electromagnetics for students towards an electrical engineering degree. This core course is usually required of all ECE majors. A split occurs in the market between professors who present vectors first and professors who present transmission lines first, Sadiku's text takes the vectors-first approach. The 5th edition is primarily focused on adding new and revised homework problems, particularly problems that focus on real-world practical examples. MATLAB exercises have been incorporated into each chapter for extended practice. Theintensive review and accuracy checking process conductedin the 4th edition will be highlighted in the preface.

Book Description
The basic objective of this highly successful text--to present the concepts of electromagnetics in a style that is clear and interesting to read--is more fully-realized in this Second Edition than ever before.Thoroughly updated and revised, this two-semester approach to fundamental concepts and applications in electromagnetics begins with vector analysis--which is then applied throughout the text. A balanced presentation of time-varying fields and static fields prepares students for employment in today's industrial and manufacturing sectors.Mathematical theorems are treated separately from physical concepts.Students, therefore, do not need to review any more mathematics than their level of proficiency requires. Sadiku is well-known for his excellent pedagogy, and this edition refines his approach even further. Student-oriented pedagogy comprises: chapter introductions showing how the forthcoming material relates to the previous chapter, summaries, boxed formulas, and multiple choice review questions with answers allowing students to gauge their comprehension. Many new problems have been added throughout the text.

Book Description
Advanced Electromagnetism: Foundations, Theory and Applications treats what is conventionally called electromagnetism or Maxwell's theory within the context of gauge theory or Yang-Mills theory. A major theme of this book is that fields are not stand-alone entities but are defined by their boundary conditions. The book has practical relevance to efficient antenna design, the understanding of forces and stresses in high energy pulses, ring laser gyros, high speed computer logic elements, efficient transfer of power, parametric conversion, and many other devices and systems. Conventional electromagnetism is shown to be an underdeveloped, rather than a completely developed, field of endeavor, with major challenges in development still to be met.

Book Description
This text discusses electromagnetics from the view of operator theory, in a manner more commonly seen in textbooks of quantum mechanics. It includes a self-contained introduction to operator theory, presenting definitions and theorems, plus proofs of the theorems when these are simple or enlightening.

Book Description
Discussed is the electromagnetic field theory and its mathematical methods. Maxwell’s equations are presented and explained. It follows a detailed discussion of electrostatics, flux, magnetostatics, quasi stationary fields and electromagnetic fields. The author presents how to apply numerical methods like finite differences, finite elements, boundary elements, image charge methods, and Monte-Carlo methods to field theory problems. He offers an outlook on fundamental issues in physics including quantum mechanics. Some of these issues are still unanswered questions. A chapter dedicated to the theory of special relativity, which allows to simplify a number of field theory problems, complements this book. A book whose usefulness is not limited to engineering students, but can be very helpful for physicists and other branches of science.

Book Description
In this treatise I have tried to present in systematic and definite form a simple, rigorous, and thoroughly modem introduction to the fundamental principles of electromagnetic theory, together with some of the simpler of their more interesting and important non-technical applications. The work makes no pretense to completeness, but is written for the serious student of physics, who will make liberal use of more detailed treatises, of hand-books, and of journals, as occasion demands. I am of course indebted to many books and memoirs. My obligations are especially great, as the most cursory examination of the book will show, to the works of Maxwell, Heaviside, and Poynting. I am also much indebted to Professor A. G. Webster for the use of a number of excellent diagrams from his treatise on electrical theory.
