Actualmente, la tremenda presión de los procesos globalizadores del capitalismo ha hecho crecer extraordinariamente las situaciones de contacto a causa de los desplazamientos poblacionales, que o bien se superponen a situaciones de pluralidad sociocultural preexistentes, o bien generan otras novedosas, como en el caso de España.
