Book Description
Troy Pearce and his elite team of drone experts are called in when rising tensions between China and Japan threaten to dramatically change the geopolitical climate of the world. When China stakes a dubious claim in the hotly disputed waters of the East China Sea, the prime minister of Japan threatens to dispatch the country’s naval assets and tear up its antiwar constitution unless the Americans forcefully intervene. The war-weary Americans are reluctant to confront the powerful Chinese navy directly, but if the Japanese provoke a military conflict with their historic enemy, treaty obligations would draw the United States into the fight. In order to deescalate the first foreign policy crisis of his administration, U.S. president Lane dispatches Troy Pearce and his team to Tokyo to defuse the situation. What they find is a quagmire of hawkish politicians, nationalistic fervor, special interests with their own hidden agendas, and possibly the greatest military threat that America has ever faced. In this treacherous atmosphere it will require all of Pearce’s cunning—and his team’s technological prowess—to separate the truth from misdirection, and prevent the world from plunging into war.

THUNDER ON THE RIM On the South China Sea an oil rig erupts in flames—as AK-47 tracer rounds stitch the night and men die in pools of blood. The SOSUS underwater network catapults news of the attack to Washington—while ChiCom troops mass on the Vietnamese border. Ten divisions of Chinese shock troops blast their way south, overrunning the U.S.-U.N-led Emergency Response Force. But the West's best warriors fight back. U.S. Special Forces, British SAS, and the legendary Gurkhas, their Kukri knives drawn, go toe-to-toe with the invaders. Tomcats and F-18s pulverize the jungle. And the Military Sealift Command hurls Aegis cruisers and Wasp-Iwo Jima, and Spruance-class attack ships—spearheaded by Sea Wolf subs--into the South China Sea. From Japan to Malaysia, the Pacific Rim is ablaze—in a hell called . . . WORLD WAR III - SOUTH CHINA SEA "Superior to the Tom Clancy genre, with characters that came alive . . .and the military aspect far more realistic."—The Spectator

Book Description
I've met lots of folks in lots of situations and, after a while, people seem to just open up to me. Call it a gift if you like but I have to tell you; sometimes I don't want to listen. So I do the polite thing which usually ends up in the poor soul thanking me for allowing them to unburden their problems. Often they will berate the fact that no one would believe them anyway. I always respond in the same way which is to tell them to write it down. That way, even if no one believes you, at least you've got a good yarn to show for it. They most often agree but then ask me write the story although sometimes they want to write it in their own words. The result is a bit of a mish mash of styles I suppose but I like to think that gives them authenticity.
