This thesis concentrates on methodological developments in both acquisition and reconstruction techniques when applying concepts from real-time imaging to the field of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging. In particular, a novel spoiling technique based on randomized radiofrequency phases is proposed to suppress undesired image artifacts. This technique allows fast, artifact-free acquisition of radially sampled T1 weighted data sets.
