One of the problems which the Korean church has had for a long time was the negative attitude toward the divine healing ... This was very common among the laypersons, theological students and even the ministers. The researcher diagnosed that this came from the lack of understanding [of] divine healing ... Therefore, the researcher taught the participants [the] biblical, theological, and historical background of divine healing. At the same time, he emphasized ... spirituality training to help them experience the healing to develop the divine healing ministry. The researcher trained 15 Bible college students who [were] interested in this area for 10 weeks with the training materials developed by him. As a result, it was found that the sample group showed much progress in understanding the divine healing [when] they experienced [it] directly or indirectly. They also recovered the assurance and pride as a minister by applying what they learned in their ministry field. By understanding the healing correctly, they began to work with more confidence and great expectation in their field"--Abstract.
