Book Description
Allison North's flight to freedom is dangerous and desperate. As she scrambles into the stranger's car crying "drive," she prays to God this is not her last day on earth. Usually not a gambler, this move is high-stake gambling. Bruised, battered, and with no money, she needs a place to hide and heal until she finds work as a pastry chef. When the stranger offers her shelter, she takes it even as fear rushes up her throat and threatens to choke her. Would she live to regret her decision? Mason Franklin cannot believe his eyes but, with her urgent cry ringing in his ears, he presses the gas and the car leaps forward. What had possessed her to do such a dangerous act? He intends to find out. But no amount of probing loosened her tongue. Just when he decides to let her go, he accidentally sees her bruised body. Angry that someone did that to her made him want to meet the coward. He offers her shelter. Under his roof, he discovers she is the pastry chef who could not only lift his business to the top, but who built up a need in him that only she can satisfy. The wild passion they share can only lead to one conclusion.

Male and Female Made in God’s Image
Author: Frances O'Dair
Publisher: WestBow Press
ISBN: 1973657236
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 419
Book Description
In this era of distorted ideas about our inherent roles, identities, and purposes as men and women, it has never been as important that we seek reconciliation in marriage and families so there can be a more rational approach to the real problems the whole world suffers. We must disseminate God’s truth and extinguish the lies and myths that Satan has embedded into the hearts and minds of many people. Building on these ideas, in Male and Female Made in God’s Image, author Frances O’Dair offers her perspective on dating, marriage, and family, which she believes reflects the experiences of most married couples before the sexual revolution of the 1960s. She encourages men and women to reflect on the wise or self-serving natures of their past dating and mating choices. If we can stop the reckless self-gratifying use of human sexuality with our children, our loving direction and understanding of God’s truth can set them free from the temptations that have been passed down to recent generations. We must be ready to admit that sexual freedom is a myth and isn’t intended for the well-being of men, women, children, and the unborn. This faith-inspired treatise explores the true source of happiness, meaning, and fulfilment that God has planned for everyone within the sacrament of marriage and the family circle.

Redwood Ritual
Author: RD Borden Jr.
Publisher: Xlibris Corporation
ISBN: 1796060313
Category : Poetry
Languages : en
Pages : 122
Book Description
This has been a very trying project to complete. Redwood Ritual is the objective observation of the world as it is today as it presently presents itself. Though this required far less time than Soul Split Son, Redwood Ritual is quite comprehensive. I've explored various writing styles to express the messages I sought to convey. Some were created in an abstract form, where my thoughts took the lead with no regard to organization. Others explored political events and the cultural metamorphosis which is ever evolving. And then there are entries which directly attack certain facets of life, which we as individuals deem to be imperative to our own ways of life. No one person or group was targeted, but the point and purpose of Redwood Ritual was to illustrate the direction we as a society are headed towards in contrast to the lifestyle and values my generation was raised to embody. It has been said that change and progress are a good thing, however; what happens when we repeat history and trends? There can be no growth, but we will stand mired and lost as a world culture fixated on what has become socially and financially acceptable. We treat the phrase "politically correct" as the benchmark for conversation and education. People have become intimated, shying away from being honest and transparent about their thoughts and emotions. And it is my hope that Redwood Ritual proves itself to be a segway for open communication and unbiased transparent observations.
