INTRODUCTION : Le dépistage organisé du cancer colorectal, qui a prouvé son efficacité, ne bénéficie pourtant pas en France d'un taux de participation suffisant au regard des enjeux de santé publique. OBJECTIF : Comprendre les facteurs limitant la participation des patients au dépistage organisé du cancer colorectal du point de vue du médecin et proposer des améliorations. METHODE : un questionnaire a été adressé aux médecins généralistes de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté entre octobre et décembre 2022 par voie electronique. Ce questionnaire avait été amélioré et validé suite à 13 entretiens semi-dirigés avec des médecins généralistes de Côte d'Or. RESULTATS : Au total 244 réponses ont été collectées. Près de 20% des médecins interrogés estiment n'avoir jamais reçu de formation sur le dépistage du cancer colorectal. Le frein principal à la participation des patients identifié par les médecins est la peur du résultat positif. Pour 70% des médecins, il est important d'améliorer l'information des patients. Mars bleu est inconnu de plus de la moitié des médecins interrogés, une amélioration de la communication auprès du grand public et des professionnels de santé est nécessaire. Plus de 90% des médecins pensent qu'il est important d'améliorer le délai de réalisation de la coloscopie après test de dépistage positif. Plus de la moitié des médecins serait favorable à la mise en place de consultations dédiées à la prévention. CONCLUSION : Renforcer la formation des médecins et la communication autour du dépistage organisé du cancer colorectal semblent fondamentaux pour améliorer la participation des patients.
