Book Description
"This report describes the cultural resource inventory of the Joe Ney Slough Bridge replacement project area. The project is on Crown Point Road about one mile east of the town of Charleston in Coos County, Oregon. The project area encompasses approximately one acre in and near the existing Joe Ney Bridge alignment, Section 2, T25S, R14W; Empire, Oregon, 15 minute quadrangle. ... No cultural resources meeting the minimal criteria for National Register eligibility were identified in the project area through the literature search, consultation, or project area reconnaissance. The project will not affect identified archaeological sites, such as the Indian Bay site, which are approximately a half-mile from the project impact area."--Leaf iii.
