Although a few canals are dead-end, all 52 waterways are connected in a single network that can be accessed by any cruising vessel.This guide has been written to help those boaters that are "just passing through" but also to encourage pleasure cruising in Belgium, to find and enjoy a country that is rich in history, art, excellent museums, fine restaurants and friendly people in cosy, welcoming local bars.
