Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit entwickelt ein theoretisches Modell über den Einfluß von e-Service Quality auf erlebte Emotionen und daraus resultierendes Nutzerverhalten. Als Beispiel wurde die Web 2.0 Applikation und Social-Networking-Website www.Studivz.net ausgewählt. Im Kontext von Online-Medien unterscheidet man zwei Bereiche zur Qualitätsbeurteilung, zum Einen den Inhalt und zum Zweiten die formalen Eigenschaften des Mediums. Diese Arbeit beschränkt sich auf die formalen Eigenschaften. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daß es eine direkte Beziehung zwischen den Ausprägungen der e-Service Quality und den Emotionen Wut, Angst und Freude gibt. Außerdem werden signifikante Beziehungen zwischen den Emotionen Wut, Angst, Freude und Interesse und den Verhaltensoptionen Beschwerde, Anbieterwechsel, Passivität, Mund-zu-Mund Propaganda und wiederholte Nutzung aufgezeigt. Als emotional kritische Dimensionen der e-Service Quality ergeben sich Sicherheit/Privatsphäre, Zugang zu der Website, Effizienz und Navigation.
