Book Description
Kansas and Nebraska entered the Big Blue River Compact in 1971: A. To promote interstate comity between the states of Nebraska and Kansas; B. To achieve an equitable apportionment of the waters of the Big Blue river basin between the two states and to promote orderly development thereof; and C. To encourage continuation of the active pollution-abatement programs in each of the two states and to seek further reduction in both natural and man-made pollution of the waters of the Big Blue river basin.
