Suburban commercial corridors, also called strips, are facing increased challenges, including vacant or underutilized storefronts, lower quality businesses entering the market, aging buildings and infrastructure, increasing traffic delays, and increased regional competition. The 4.5 mile long commercial corridor along State Route 4 in Fairfield, Ohio is facing many of these same challenges.
