Amanda Childs, Mainville attorney and organist at St. Catherine's Episcopal Church, was happy. While still reeling about the revelations of her own paternity, Amanda suddenly learns that her deceased husband Andrew's past is shrouded in mystery. All her past doubts about Andrew's love for her are revisited, when it is learned that he kept certain personal matters secret from her. In the meantime she is being shadowed, and is accosted by a newspaper reporter about to leak the story of Andrew's famous father. Just as Amanda seemingly sees light at the end of the tunnel and makes crucial decisions regarding her future happiness, she is mired in suspicion of murder. The evidence clearly points to her as the perpetrator. Her liberty and very life become in jeopardy, and she must rely upon others to try to save her from impending doom.

You will be enlightened and scared beyond belief. I began writing the book because of my interest and confusion about what has been taking place around the globe since the year 2020 began. The West went from hearing about Jeffrey Epstein being murdered in his prison cell and Prince Andrew lying worldwide during an interview to the continual broadcasts of Covid-19 – a plague of biblical proportion that was on its way to kill millions, as reported by the mass media. It still is being reported over and over but now added is – the second wave, how bad will it be? How bad was the first one? I worked in the field of public health for 32 years, the last 10 years as Associate Commissioner of Public Health in a Canadian Public Health Department responsible for a population of close to one-half million people. If I learned one thing over those years it is that only programs, strategies and interventions that are evidence based work. Anything else is so much window dressing. One excellent example is school nurses. Why is that program still in place? Because it always has been that way. Window dressing. The more I researched Covid-19 the more, rather than less, confused I became. Testing was flawed, the science was more than bad, data was all over the place, methodologies were different, and interventions, like lockdowns and closures, were anything but, evidence based. Of all the countries, Sweden came the closest to reacting with strategies that were evidence based. In all my years of public health practice, the great majority of those at risk were the always the aged, the young, those with chronic illnesses, and those in the low socioeconomic category, now getting to be the largest category in the population. Those people were always targeted during cold alerts, heat alerts, smog alerts, etc., etc. Mass closures of work and schools were never a thought. Why this time? What I will show you in this book or story is merely a number of real facts and interviews, mostly not reported by the mass media, including strange and flawed data, reversals in decisions based upon nothing tangible and rumors and innuendos. There is something very wrong in this entire story, something that is being covered up and not reported. I have some thoughts but not enough evidence to arrive at any solid conclusion. So while I am not supporting any particular theory, I hope if you are able to read some of the research and news stories that have been documented that you will have a better sense of what is happening and what is now, or will be, hidden, possibly under the, now always present, label of ‘National Security’.

The British systematic theologian Colin Gunton argued that Augustine bequeathed to the West a theological tradition with serious deficiencies. According to Gunton, Augustine's particular construal of the doctrine of God led to fundamental errors and problems in grasping the relationship between creation and redemption, and in rightfully construing a truly Christian ontology. In Colin Gunton and the Failure of Augustine, Bradley G. Green's close reading of Augustine challenges Gunton's understanding. Gunton argued that Augustine's supposed emphasis of the one over the many severed any meaningful link between creation and redemption, contra the theological insights of Irenaeus, and furthermore that because of Augustine's supposed emphasis on the timeless essence of God at the expense of the three real persons, he failed to forge a truly Christian ontology, effectively losing the insights of the Cappadocian Fathers). For all of Gunton's many insights, Green argues that on the contrary, Augustine did not sever the link between creation and redemption, but rather affirmed that the created order is a means of genuine knowledge of God, that the created order is indeed the only means by which redemption is accomplished, that the cross of Christ is the only means by which we can see God, and that the created order is fundamentally oriented toward a telos - redemption. Concerning ontology, Augustine's teaching on the imago Dei, and the prominent role that relationship plays in Augustine's doctrines of man and God, provides the kind of relational Christian ontology that Gunton sought. In short, Green argues, Augustine could have provided Gunton key theological resources in countering the modernity he so rightfully challenged.
