The greatest monthly amount reported was inches at Lakeport, N. H. The least was inches at Cornwall, Vt. The greatest amount in 24 hours was inches at Bar Harbor, Me. The aver age snowfall for the Section, 75 stations reporting, was inches, which is inches above the normal. The average number of days with 01 inch or more of precipitation was 12, which is 3 more than the average of the past 40 years.
