The authors explore these issues in the context of different pressures that impact on European education systems - from the constraints established by the European Central Bank and the European Commission across Southern Europe, to the 2008 financial crisis and the increased migration. The book provides a rigorous theoretical approach to European and national policies, combined with detailed analyses of national educational contexts in England, France, Greece, Hungary and Sweden. These in-depth studies identify major issues of national education policymaking, and explore the complexities of global/national relationships. Le FFF, qui a mobilisé 66,4 millions d'EUR de ressources de donateurs depuis 2004, a financé 77 opérations de subvention dans les pays du Moyen-Orient et d'Afrique du Nord (" MOAN "), qui ont abouti à 630 millions d'EUR d'opérations de panachage de ressources de la BEI, pour un investissement total de 1,35 milliard d'EUR. Grâce à l'aide ininterrompue de 16 États membres de l'UE et de la Commission européenne, le FFF a approuvé 9,9 millions d'EUR d'opérations de subvention en 2017, soit le montant le plus élevé jamais atteint. Le FFF a été un acteur clé du partenariat entre l'UE et les pays partenaires méditerranéens en s'inscrivant dans le cadre du processus qui a encouragé le renouvellement économique et politique dans les pays voisins du Sud.
