Book Description
In the early to mid-1900s, the coal camps of Reliance, Dines, Winton, and Stansbury emerged from the hillsides and desert in southwestern Wyoming due to the increased need for coal. The miners and their families who came to these coal camps were a true melting pot, bringing with them different races, religions, and customs from all over the world. They forged unique communities and worked and lived harmoniously, depending on one another for survival, entertainment, and camaraderie. Although distanced from one another, the camps were integrated by the mines and activities of the Union Pacific Coal Company, and unified by School District No. 7, which provided the educational foundation for their children. The people who lived in these camps contributed significantly to the development of southwestern Wyoming, the economy of the state, and the welfare of the United States during wartime.

Book Description
From New York Times bestselling author, Rick Hautala, comes a taut suspense thriller set in the dark woods of Maine. Jeff Cameron is going back to Camp Tapiola on Lake Onwego to meet several old friends and reminisce about their childhood experiences at camp. But not all of their childhood memories are good. For thirty-five years, lingering images of their friend Jimmy Foster’s lifeless body being pulled from the lake has disturbed Jeff’s peace of mind. Was Jimmy Foster's death an accident or murder? The authorities had said Jimmy’s death was an accidental drowning, but Jeff had always believed there was more to the story. Why after all these years did his old friend arrange this reunion? And why can’t Jeff escape the feeling that his friend has a hidden agenda. What is this reunion is really about? And another question remains... who is The Wildman?

Book Description
Every Boy Scout camp has its unique history. This is the story of one of them: the Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation, located since 1948 in upstate New Yorks beautiful and historic Adirondack Mountains. The story is a mixture of fact, nostalgia, and youthful dreams. It is intended to provide a lasting record of what went on in this extraordinary camp from the day it opened in 1920 on Long Pond near Mahopac, NY to the present. Written by scouters who, as staff members, lived parts of that history, it evokes experiences that often affect entire lifetimes of those who lived them. It also offers something of value to those of you who perhaps never went to camp.
