Book Description
The Arch Thaumaturge had argued about answering a troll’s prayer. One renegade angel secretly saved an abandoned baby left to die. This human infant was enhanced with incredible abilities through a strange concoction mixed with angelic blood, and the child miraculously transformed into a green troll. The baby was taken to a barren troll in the troll kingdom. She made a covenant with the renegade angel to raise the infant as her own, and to help him become a great tracker. Having mastered his tracking skills, he became known for his ability to find the impossible. The people claimed him to be the greatest investigator in the kingdom. A powerful witch thought that by killing his parents, she would be able to stop him. But she was wrong. The renegade angel’s fellow Arch Thaumaturge Gatbam traveled to the future to persuade the mortal named Dr. Paul Coldchase—a relentless, strong-willed, very principled coroner—to travel to the dark ages. He assured him that his excellent medical skills would be appreciated, regardless of his race. Sometime later, he was murdered. This medical examiner was resurrected, and he changed his forename to Phantom. Dr. Phantom Coldchase teamed up with Trollpeo. Thus began the dynamic chronicles of the greatest detectives: Trollpeo Trolliceo Greenthumb, the Green Knight, and Dr. Phantom Coldchase, Medical Examiner.

Book Description
“ON A RAFT OF DREAMS” is the autobiography of multi-hyphenate Alison C. Ayres. It covers his life journey and pursuit of excellence from his earliest years in 1960s Trinidad and Tobago through to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., part of the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic. Ayres is a Pratt Institute Alumnus; a former Advertising Executive: A Songwriter; a former United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador and a former employee of former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner (Google him), who is currently wanted by U.S. authorities. In his “MUST READ” book, Ayres tells of growing up and living on the Caribbean’s Twin Island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, before he became a permanent resident of the United States. He shares his experiences as a foreign student at Pratt, the prestigious institution for Art and Design; as an Ad Exec; as a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador, as well as full details of his 5 years experience working for the disgraced former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner, from 1994 to 1998, and the events that led him to withdraw his services from the 5 football (soccer) entities he served under Warner. Ayres will tell of extreme hardships, which began from infancy, while being raised by his single parent mother who was born deaf; and despite continued hardships, how he stayed focused to relentlessly pursue and achieve his childhood dreams in Art, Music, and Football (Soccer). Alison C. Ayres was raised by his deaf single parent mother, together with 4 siblings; 3 of them who were older than he was and one younger. Growing up in abject poverty, he had witnessed his mother’s never-ending struggles to raise and provide life’s most basic necessities for her children. His mother’s struggles became his primary source of motivation to succeed, and provided the impetus for him to pursue the dreams he was harboring from his early childhood, towards his ultimate dream of making his mother both happy and proud one day. More specifically, dreams of becoming a successful professional soccer player; a bonafide commercial artists; and a successful songwriter. In pursuit of those dreams, and before he became a permanent U.S. resident, Ayres had anchored himself in his homeland, and traveled far from his humble birthplace; with hard work, grace, humility, a great amount of determination and remarkable resilience, as the major contributors to his accomplishments. Ayres is a U.S. citizen who has been living in New York for many years now.

Book Description
BOOK 1: STAR SONG . Mary was too young, Elizabeth too old, Joseph too gullible, the shepherds too smelly, Anna too senile, Simeon too idealistic. The wise men should have minded their own business, Zechariah should have accepted he'd never have children. King Herod dared control God, the Bible scholars dared interpret God. . This is a lyrical novel with the reader is inserted into the story. And at the end of each chapter are discussion questions, ancient historical records cited, and scriptures used as a basis for the story. . At the end of the book are suggested chapter readings for special occasions. It also has a three-page bibliography of all books consulted while writing all eight volumes of "They Met Jesus". . This is not just a novel. It is much more. . Come meet the people who met Jesus. You are one of them. Probably you are several of them. Go ahead and struggle with them as they did. Laugh. Cry. Do mental battle with him. Emotional battle too. Fight for your faith as they fought. Pause to listen for what you've never heard before. Then touch Jesus. . This is the story of faith in the impossible. Hope in the inconceivable. Love for the invincible. It is the dreams of youth, the desperations of infirmity, the hopes of age, and the song of eternity. . Follow the suspense as each person in Jesus' life comes to terms with who they are, and who Jesus is. Jesus accepts the as they are. But can they accept themselves as they are? More than that, can they accept Jesus as he is? Both God and man? Both Creator and created? Both King and servant? . It is the story of doubts explained away, animosities melted away, misunderstandings cleared away. It is your story and mine. For deep within each of us is everyone who ever met and struggled with Jesus.

Book Description
In modern American society, the child who grows up without learning to read does not have a prayer when it comes to achieving true success in life. Unfortunately, this is the case for several million of our nation’s children. According to an April 2017 study by the U.S. Department of Education and the National Institute of Literacy, 32 million adults in the U.S. can’t read. Part of the reason is that 61% of low-income families have no books at all in the home for their pre-school children to read, a crucial time when reading development takes place. There is hope, and it can be found in My Heartfelt Passion: Saving Our Nation One Child at a Time, written by Jim Davidson, nationally syndicated columnist who founded a unique literacy project called “Bookcase for Every Child” in his home town of Conway, Arkansas. This project has now spread to five other states. They have given over 2,000 personalized bookcases, and a starter set of books, to pre-school children being reared in low-income families. In the author’s easy, conversational style, he takes us to the day he was born and moves forward to share the people, events, and experiences that led him to develop a heartfelt passion for underprivileged children. He covers his personal history; how some children are born with advantages, while others are born with unspeakable disadvantages. After reading this book and lays it aside, anyone will know the ins and outs of organizing and starting a bookcase project in their own community that is sustainable and will make a difference. Without a doubt this project can be replicated in every community in America, and over time can become a tool to change the lives of preschool children. They will then have enthusiasm and hope that come only to literate people who can function as contributing members of society.

Book Description
The first biography of Helena Sheehan, Irish-American Marxist feminist activist Why would an American girl-child, born into a good, Irish-Catholic family in the thick of the McCarthy era – a girl who, when she came of age, entered a convent – morph into an atheist, feminist, and Marxist? The answer is in Helena Sheehan’s fascinating account of her journey from her 1940s and 1950s beginnings, into the turbulent 1960s, when the Vietnam War, black power, and women’s liberation rocked her bedrock assumptions and prompted a volley of life-upending questions – questions shared by millions of young people of her generation. But, for Helena Sheehan, the increasingly radicalized answers deepened through the following decades. Beginning by overturning such certainties as America-is-the-world’s-greatest-country and the-Church-is-infallible, Sheehan went on to embrace existentialism, philosophical pragmatism, the new left, and eventually Marxism. Migrating from the United States to Ireland, she became involved with Irish republicanism and international communism in the 1970s and 1980s. Sheehan’s narrative vividly captures the global sweep and contradictions of second-wave feminism, antiwar activism, national liberation movements, and international communism in Eastern and Western Europe – as well as the quieter intellectual ferment of individuals living through these times. Navigating the Zeitgeist is an eloquently articulated voyage from faith to enlightenment to historical materialism that informs as well as entertains. This is the story of a well-lived political and philosophical life, told by a woman who continues to interrogate her times.
