From a sample of 16,000 four-pronged events from $sup -$p p interactions at 2.4 GeV/c and 9,400 at 2.9 GeV/c, a study of resonance production and angular distributions was made for the constrained reactions $sup -$p p_2?$sup +$ 2?$sup -$ (V$sup o$). A limited analysis of the unconstrained reactions $sup -$p p_ 2?$sup +$ 2?$sup -$ n?$sup o$ (n> 1) is also presented. The reaction cross sections and resonance cross sections were found to be higher at 2.4 GeV/c than at 2.9 GeV/c. (author).
