Some may barely tolerate such sensation; some hanker after comic relief or the restful padding of a love interest; perhaps but a few will understand a tragedy disclosed in torn cries, in embarassed silences, in unconscious words. In conclusion, dare I admit that in "The Tragedy of a Brain" I have sought to defend weakness, in the court of humanity, and to satirize the strong ("sensible people!") who demand bricks without straw from the weak.
