In addition, the nursing home prompt payment provision from the Senate bill was integrated into the Temporary Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) Increase provision in P. L. 109-171) that clarifies and narrows the case management definition and directs the Secretary of HHS to issue regulations to guide states' claims for federal matching funds for case management.
