The report contains information on the grinding, leaching, and liquid-solid separation by continuous countercurrent decantation. Detailed information is presented on the liquid-liquid solvent extraction of the leach liquor using organic solvents containing di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid or triisooctyl amine. Results show White Canyon ores to be amenable to the Acid Leach - CCD - Solvent Extraction process. Using di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid, reagent consumptions were relatively high, whereas with triisooctyl amine excellent recovery of uranium was obtained with moderate reagent requirements.
