Book Description
We have measured the?{sub b} lifetime using the exclusive decay?{sub b}→J/??, based on 1.2 fb−1 of data collected with the D0 detector during 2002-2006. From 171 reconstructed?{sub b} decays, where the J/? and? are identified via the decays J/??????????− and????????p?, we measured the?{sub b} lifetime to be?(?{sub b})=1.218{sub -0.115}{sup +0.130}(stat)±0.042(syst) ps. We also measured the B° lifetime in the decay B°→J/?(?+?−)K{sub S}°(?+?−) to be?(B°)=1.501{sub -0.074}{sup +0.078}(stat)±0.050(syst) ps, yielding a lifetime ratio of?(?{sub b})/?(B°)=0.811{sub -0.087}{sup +0.096}(stat)±0.034(syst =).

Book Description
The authors present a simultaneous measurement of the {bar B}° lifetime [tau]{sub B°} and B°{bar B}° oscillation frequency [Delta]m{sub d}. We use a sample of about 50,000 partially reconstructed {bar B}{sup 0} 2!D*l−{bar {nu}}{sub {ell}} decays identified with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II ee− storage ring at SLAC. The flavor of the other B meson in the event is determined from the charge of another high-momentum lepton.

Book Description
The authors report a measurement of the B{sub s}° lifetime in the semileptonic decay channel B{sub s}° → D{sub s}−??X (and its charge conjugate), using approximately 0.4 fb−1 of data collected with the D0 detector during 2002-2004. They have reconstructed 5176 D{sub s}−?+ signal events, where the D{sub s}− is identified via the decay D{sub s}° →??−, followed by? → K+K−. Using these events, they have measured the B{sub s}° lifetime to be?(B{sub s}°) = 1.398 ± 0.044 (stat){sub -0.025}{sup +0.028}(syst) ps. This is the most precise measurement of the B{sub s}° lifetime to date.

Book Description
The authors present a simultaneous measurement of the {bar B}° lifetime [tau](B°) and mixing parameter [Delta]m{sub d}. They use a sample of about 50000 {bar B}° --> D* 1 {anti {nu}}(l) partially reconstructed decays identified with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring at SLAC, where the flavor of the other B meson is determined from the charge of another high momentum lepton in the same event. The preliminary results are: tau(B°) = (1.50 ± 0.008(stat.) ± 0.030(syst.)) ps, [Delta]m{sub d} = (0.523 ± 0.004(stat.) ± 0.007(syst.)) p{sup s}( -1).

Book Description
The B[sup 0] lifetime has been measured with a sample of 23 million B[bar B] pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e[sup+]e[sup -] storage ring during 1999 and 2000. Events from the semileptonic decay B[sup 0][yields] D*[sup -][ell][sup+][nu][sub[ell]] have been selected with a partial reconstruction method in which only the charged lepton and the slow[pi] from the D*[sup -][yields][bar D][sup 0][pi][sup -] decay are reconstructed. The result is[tau][sub B][sup 0]= 1.529[+-] 0.012 (stat)[+-] 0.029 (syst) ps.

Book Description
We report a measurement of the lifetime of the?{sub b}° baryon in decays to the?{sub c}?− final state in a sample corresponding to 1.1 fb−1 collected in p{bar p} collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron collider. Using a sample of about 3000 fully reconstructed?{sub b}° events we measure?(?{sub b}°) = 1.401 ± 0.046 (stat) ± 0.035 (syst) ps (corresponding to c?(?{sub b}°) = 420.1 ± 13.7 (stat) ± 10.6 (syst)?m, where c is the speed of light). The ratio of this result and the world average B° lifetime yields?(?{sub b}°)/?(B°) = 0.918 ± 0.038 (stat and syst), in good agreement with recent theoretical predictions.

Book Description
The authors present a measurement of the B{sub s}° lifetime in fully and partially reconstructed B{sub s}° → D{sub s}°([phi][pi]−)X decays in 1.3 fb−1 collected in p{bar p} collisions at √s = 1.96 Tev by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. They measure [tau](B{sub s}°) = 1.518 ± 0.041 (stat.) ± 0.027 (syst.) ps. The ratio of this result and the world average B° lifetime yields [tau](B{sub s}°)/[tau](B°) = 0.99 ± 0.03, which is in agreement with recent theoretical predictions.

Book Description
The two collider experiments at the Tevatron, CDF and D0, have made a lot of progress in B{sub s} lifetime difference measurements. Here, they have included 3 different channels of measurements, namely, B{sub s} {yields} J/{psi} + {phi}, B{sub s} {yields} K{sup +}K{sup -} and B{sub s} {yields} D{sub s}{sup (*)+}D{sub s}{sup (*)-}. Combining all the available measurements, they have obtained {Delta}{Lambda}{sub s} = 0.097{sub -0.042}{sup +0.041} ps{sup -1} and {bar {tau}} = 1/{Lambda}{sub s} = 1.461 {+-} 0.030 ps. {Delta}{Lambda}{sub s} is now 2.3 {sigma} away from zero.
