Objectif : Les anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens (AINS) sont à éviter même ponctuellement avant 24 semaines et contre-indiqués à partir du 6eme mois de grossesse pour les nombreuses complications materno-fœtales qu'ils induisent. Or ils sont fortement présents dans les pharmacies familiales et en vente libre pour une majeure partie d'entre eux. Dans le contexte actuel d'autonomisation de la société où l'automédication est encouragée par les pouvoirs publics, ils risquent d'être utilisés. Notre étude a pour but d'évaluer la connaissance des femmes enceintes autour des AINS. Méthode : Etude descriptive, par distribution de 330 questionnaires à toutes les femmes enceintes consultant au Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire de Saint-Etienne, sur une semaine du 11 au 19 février 2014. Résultats : Le taux de réponse était de 96,4%. Environ 46% des femmes enceintes déclaraient s'automédiquer. Plus d'une femme sur trois considérait les AINS sans danger à partir du 6eme mois de grossesse. L'IBUPROFENE était bien reconnu comme étant un AINS par 86% des femmes, en revanche 1 sur 2 ne considérait pas le RHINADVIL® comme tel et environ 40% pour l’ASPEGIC® et l’ASPIRINE. La perception de leur danger variait selon la galénique et le nom commercial : 60% pensaient que le RHINADVIL® était sans risque et environ 1 femme sur 2 pour l’ASPIRINE et l’ASPEGIC®. Conclusion : La connaissance des femmes enceintes autour des AINS n'est pas satisfaisante. Elles ne sont pas assez conscientes de leur danger et ne savent pas les reconnaître. Or l'automédication est en croissance et leur accessibilité facile. Un travail de prévention et d'information est donc indispensable.

The report provides a comprehensive resource for those considering how to strengthen their pharmacovigilance systems and practices, and to give practical advice. The East in the West reassesses Western views of Asia. Traditionally many European historians and theorists have seen the societies of the East as 'static' or 'backward'. Jack Goody challenges these assumptions, beginning with the notion of a special Western rationality which enabled 'us' and not 'them' to modernise. He then turns to book-keeping, which several social and economic historians have seen as intrinsic to capitalism, arguing that there was in fact little difference between East and West in terms of mercantile activity. Other factors said to inhibit the East's development, such as the family and forms of labour, have also been greatly exaggerated. This Eurocentrism both fails to explain the current achievements of the East, and misunderstands Western history. The East in the West starts to redress the balance, and so marks a fundamental shift in our view of Western and Eastern history and society.
