Book Description
THU. APR. 10, 2008 â Better frame of mind than yesterday. Today, just confused. Could be aging process. Times when the mind is clear. Other times, itâs a blur. Curious. Other thoughts. Wonder if Iâm revealing too much in conversations? Thoughts unending. Useful? Strange, contorted thoughts. Good? Can be. Thinking is free as long as you keep it inside. However, moment you reveal thoughts, the world pounces; you are on the outside looking in. Inner thoughts, wrapped in a cloak of amiability. The way to go. Time passing at work. Depressed. Why? Hard to unearth. The mind hides. Mind and body not in sync; the trouble starts. People acting out for reasons unknown to them; become aggressive as a result. Mind concealing the ideas. The individual disconnected. Underlining feelings building. Explosions. Back to reality. Leaving work soon. Back to the living. Whatâs is that? Wonder. What will I be to the living one million years from now? Odd thought that goes no where but down into the depths.

Book Description
13 Months in Malesso' captures a distinctly CHamoru sense of time and place, and beautifully illustrates the many ways in which the island of Guam nourishes and sustains its people. The book tells the story of how CHamoru ancestors in the Mariana Islands marked time using the phases of the moon and the important seasons in their lives. Months were named to describe seasonal weather and the best times to fish, plant, and harvest food. The book also explores how just like their ancestors, the Barcinas girls - Lole', Lia, Rita, Arisa, and Ha'åne' - mark time using the seasons of their beautiful village of Malesso' in southern Guam.

Book Description
Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edie, known as Big Edie and Little Edie, were the aunt and cousin of former U.S. First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. They led an unconventional existence in Grey Gardens, a mansion in East Hampton. Their home was surrounded by overgrown gardens, and filled with fleas, cats, raccoons, and old cans and rubbish. In 1976, the release of a documentary film also called 'Grey Gardens' highlighted their unique lives among the East Hampton elite, and introduced the Beales to their cult fan following. In 1975, Lois Wright, a fellow artist and dear friend of the Beales, was invited to live with them in Grey Gardens. Wright kept a journal of her thirteen months with the Beales, and using those logs, has developed this book. 'My Life at Grey Gardens' offers the reader an intimate look at the daily lives of the Beales, and chronicles the events from Lois's arrival at the house through the passing of Big Edith Bouvier Beale in 1977.
