Directory of Literacy Services for Greater Cleveland

Each year Cleveland Reads reaches out to and researches Greater Cleveland's literacy programs to obtain up-to-date information, which is used to publish a directory of local literacy services. The directory is intended to help service providers, agency, organizational, and institutional personnel refer potential learners and volunteers to the programs that best meet their needs and educational level. Furthermore, the directory facilitates networking and resource sharing among providers.

Tutor Integration Manual

Cleveland Reads developed the Tutor Integration Manual to serve as a step-by-step guide and provide insight to effectively integrate volunteer tutors into literacy agencies. The manual flows chronologically and includes helpful information on writing a tutor job description, supplying adequate training, matching tutors and learners, keeping records, and tips for tutor retention. The manual also includes several sample forms and documents to assist in the process.
